Should Women Have to Blend In? #SarahThomas #NFL

Good morning ☀️ woke up in a great mood and excited for the day 🐶 also I just read an article about Sarah Thomas who will be making history as being the first woman to officiate NFL playoff game 🏈 look at us females go!!! She stated that she tucks her ponytail in to blend in as the other officials. I don’t know how I feel about that. I’d never hide my curls to do such, letting others know there’s a woman out on the field doing her thing is great. At the end of the day I’m proud of her!! It’s all love

What do you all think? Should woman have to make themselves blend in with men? Should they stand out and let others know women can do it too?

you mean to tell me that a male official with long curly hair, would or would not have to tuck in his curls? Men have had long hair since the....well....beginning of time maybe?

@Judemaixcx @SW-User I meant I wouldn’t tuck in my curly hair to blend in but after reading a few comments I understand why women do it now but I never hated the fact I’m just saying I would free my curly ponytail ♥️

@Judemaixcx O.k, but you said that Sarah Thomas tucks her pony tail in to blend in. I am confused as to why she does this, unless it's a safety thing, because I doubt a man with a pony tail would tuck his in? What does being a man or woman have to do with it? Is it not 2019?

"To truly blend in," ... “If I have a ponytail then I separate myself immediately. So tucking my hair, I blend in and I'm just another official.” So she doesn’t necessarily have to she just wants to blend in
