Will Liverpool win the Premiership?

I've just watched match of the day and seen them smash Arsenal after going a goal down. My own football memory started just at the end of their glory days and this is by far and away the best Liverpool team I can remember. Spurs can't win it tbh though I think Pep's Man City will still be close.

Man.City should run them close.
Only two teams with large enough squads of quality to be able to do so.

@Picklebobble2 I think you are right tbh. After today, Spurs have no chance. They are a very good team but not quite good enough. I think you will still be top four.

@Burnley123 Oh we have a manager who believes consistency comes from playing the same 14 players every game.

Ordinarily that might be an intriguing thing to test.
But given there were 50+ games last season, 12 of those 15 players selected for the world cup which followed,we have some players who've played most of 50+ games and haven't had much more than a weeks break from the end of last season to today !

Running on empty as todays result showed.
All that and we're still only half-way through the season !

@Picklebobble2 Yeah but I mean you are a club punching above your weight and have a small squad. Its really tough but I don't think anyone at Spurs is doing a lot wrong it's just you have richer adversaries which also have thir shit together.

@Burnley123 Hence the need to get home in front of a regular 50,000 crowd !
Hasn't helped that the stadium is a year behind schedule.
Half a dozen on the long term injury list and one or two regulars clearly struggling.

We always knew this season would be hard. But the schedule of five games every 15 days or whatever ridiculousness it is,is likely to be the killer blow i think.

@Picklebobble2 The money too. it's over 100 million over budget and that is almost the value of harry kane.

@Burnley123 Yeah i'm not too worried over that.
Levy is a smart guy he'll have figured out penalty clauses one way or another on that score.
With all the associated businesses going into the ground and all the revenue from the NFL i would have thought that's easily covered.
It's just hard when you have nowhere to call home and every game is an awayday.
