Females: Challenge to Wrestle

Ladies, if a friend of relative joked that they could kick your butt, would you challenge them to wrestle? Who would you most likely get into a match with and do you think you’d win?

I would not; wrestling is not my chosen forte in combat.
Which form do you prefer?@EugenieLaBorgia
Oops, I mean, what IS your forte for combat@wrestle4fun
@wrestle4fun Ah, that's confidential.
Haha, ah, I see you like to take your opponents by surprise. French women, always so mysterious :) Well, whatever your chosen form, who is it you think you’d be most likely to end up taking on?@EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun I face those who oppose me face to face.
Hmmm, sound more like a boxer then, or a martial art :)@EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun Ah, you are a fisherman I see, who likes to change his bait!
Haha, well, only a fool would cast his net in the same spot if it was drawn in empty. ;)@EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun Then... you have caught nothing!
Ah yes, we’ll, not every cast succeeds and not every day brings bounty. The point is to try. @EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun If this is your strategy in wrestling then you should prepare yourself for abject failure.
But if there’s no risk of failure, then there’s no true joy or exhilaration in victory. Attaining only the inevitable is like drinking water from a wine glass. @EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun Strategy has its own exhilaration in combat. You have displayed a complete disregard for it in this conversation by grasping for half-platitudes to reinforce your questioning. You would not be a worthy combatant either in my discipline or your own as you lack structure. I mean no offense.
Well, then I apologize for being a less then worthy adversary, but honestly, I was unaware I’d stepped into a ring. @EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun We all are in that circus of life!
So true! But the performers usually know when it’s their turn to perform in the tent!
Haha, you are quite the interesting woman.
@wrestle4fun 'All the world's a stage'.
@EugenieLaBorgia and now you’ve drug the Bard into it haha
@wrestle4fun Referencing literary works is quite common to most people.
Ouch, it feels you’ve let slip the dogs of war, verbally speaking anyway.
So tell me, if you face your opponent’s face to face it would only make sense to do so with any and all tactics morally available to you, so why dismiss wrestling as one such method?
@wrestle4fun Dogs of war?
Literary reference, implying you’ve declared written war on me with subtle digs and implications as to my verbal and intellectual inadequacies :)
It’s entertaining.
Sigh, but unfortunately, my work day has begun in earnest, so I’ll have to wander off for a while. But it’s defeinitely been fun talking with you! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!@EugenieLaBorgia
@wrestle4fun If you have read 'As you like it' by Shakespeare, you should have realised that 'All the world's a stage' is a lament, not a declaration of war. This is why you will and do constantly fail.
@EugenieLaBorgia I was in no way referring to ‘As You Like It’ but referencing ‘Julius Caesar’ to help illustrate my belief that you had begun attacking (subtly of course) and thereby declaring war on my literacy and intellect or perceived lack thereof. :)
As I said, it was fun!
