@eli1601 I'm sorry I should have explained better I guess they franchised tagged him cause they were trying to extend his deal with the team but he turned Down what they offered him

@Thelonewolf1993 Maybe they werent going to offer him a decent signing bonus... many players will forgo a large long term contract for a shorter less one if the money up front is better ie:signing bonus because NFL players never see the end of long term large contracts anyway

@Thelonewolf1993 From what ive heard its a very low percent.. most large contracts are very heavily loaded on the back end and most teams will cut the guy before he ever see's that money, its why many players go for the large signing bonus' up front
