As an Angeleno I know this. He'll NEVER be a real Laker. Not really looking forward to the shit storm ahead.

@Roflcash4 That's one thing about the Lakers. They grow their own. Thought the Clips were heading in that direction too but they blew it up. Magic coming in, and building a young team from the ground up, was an old school Laker move all the way. I don't want to see guys who are starting to come in to their own get put under the thumb of what comes with James. We'll see.

@Ynotisay I hate the super team movement that is plaguing the NBA currently, it is ruining the game. Instead of having 6-10 teams being capable of going on a huge playoff run, the NBA currently has only 2-4 teams that are really contenders. In 2010, every team in the WCP had 50+ wins. Any team had a chance of knocking off another team, and now no team has any chance of knocking off the Warriors, Rockets, and Boston before the Conference Finals. It's really hurting the game
How soon until he and Lavar Ball have a squabble?
Lots of first and second draft picks have tanked. It's LeBron's team. He wants a championship, as do the Lakers. Whatever it takes to win.

@FITMIKE70 He put pretty good numbers last year given how much time he lost to injury and his age. He plays smart. He's definitely been pimped here in L.A. as a big piece moving forward. But with them getting Rondo today it's either about having him learn from a longtime pro or setting themselves up to have Rondo run the show. We'll see.

@JarJarBoom #Greed. I wouldn’t let him back in Cleveland if I was a Cavs fan.

It's a major market that hasn't made a bit of noise since Kobe left so why the hell not? He'll instantly make them relevant again. Not going to win any championships with just him but the team will be in the conversation.

Golden State and Houston will still be better than the Lakers
