馃槀 If England win on Tuesday you may need to move out !

@Picklebobble2 I joked that we could lose on penalties to continue the pattern. I hope it was a joke.

@Burnley123 馃槀 Let's HOPE that's not prophetic.
What do you make of Southgate's England selection and running of the team this tournament ?
Burnley12341-45, M
@Picklebobble2 If we beat Colombia then I'll say its been good. 馃槅

Seriously, I do think he has done a good job and should continue.

@Burnley123 I agree. I was a bit disappointed with the team selection for the Belgium game and obviously the result. But other than that he seems to have got them working together well and our work rate and chances have been pretty good so far.

Columbia might be massively underestimated.
South American style of play, used to playing in the heat, i think we'll have to try and take the game to them rather than let them try and dictate it if we're to win.

@Picklebobble2 James Rodriguez is playing for Colombia after an injury but what shape he is in will be hard to say.

If he's on song then it will be a really close game. If not then we should win.

@Burnley123 Our 'First Eleven' should be well rested and so should be fit for the task should it go beyond 90 minutes.

I'm just a bit annoyed when you have players who were in such solid form prior to the Belgium game, why you'd break a winning team and whether that may have any effect when you send them out there again.
Burnley12341-45, M
@Picklebobble2 I get that but I think Southgate did right.

We now have a rested team, which is in an easier part of the draw and playing in cooler temperatures in Moscow, not trying to beat Japan in 35 degree heat and then Brazil in the quarters.

Columbia are no mugs, it will be a hard game, can not understand all these pundits taking it for granted England will win , they will have to work hard for the win
Burnley12341-45, M
@Nyloncapes I agree with that. The standard between teams is close this world cup. England have only a 65% chance of winning.

I notice England's odd of winning The World Cup have come in from 9-1 pre-tournament to 6-1 currently.
That's pretty good going should we make it into the last eight
Burnley12341-45, M
@Picklebobble2 Never bet on England. The English bookmakers give lousy odds for their own team. I think its best to keep a level head. At this stage, I would be disappointed if we don't make the Quarters but anything better is a bonus.
