What do you make of England's performance?

First half was 9 out of 10 and 6 in the second half. Overall, it's a 7.5. Should have won by more against a weak team. Also, the ref allowed a lot of Tunisian gamesmanship, including two good penalty appeals.

I generally like what Southgate is doing. The team has a good balance and look dangerous going forward. Our defense is still potentially rocky and could be exposed against better teams. Also, the transition between defense and attack was too slow in the second half.

I think Southgate should have brought subs on earlier to improve that transition. Alli was injured and Lingard was also out of it in the second half. Who should start the next game? Did Rashford do enough?

Dele should have been subbed a lot earlier after his injury.
Midfield went 'missing' for large parts of the game.
Walker should have been shot for giving a stupid penalty away.
Kane was immense. First game as captain; bagged two goals; played defensively when he had to.

@Picklebobble2 I've seen Kane play in a live game when he scored a hat-trick at Turf Moor and I he played a lot better in that game than he did tonight. Kane's general play was weak for a lot of the second half and he gave it away a lot. Two goals though, so whatever.

@Burnley123 Underlines England's problem though.
Here you have one of the best strikers in the world and having to come back into midfield or go wide because other players weren't there.
All the subs came on too late to have an impact. But for the second goal.......lucky we didn't lose tonight really.

@Picklebobble2 Kind of. Lucky because we needed a last-minute winner. Unlucky with the ref and unlucky not to be winning by three after the first half.

@Burnley123 Oh the ref and whatever that daft system for reviewing decisions is were just awful
