Who will stay up in the Premier League?

A lot of drama happened yesterday. Stoke are down. West Ham, Palace and Brighton are safe. Huddersfield probably has enough points.

Swansea's three defeats in a row have given Southampton and (inexplicably) West Brom hope of staying up. Southampton will be kicking themselves after conceding that late equaliser at Everton. West Brom's spectacular improvement under Darren Moore gives them a slight chance of the most unlikely great escape of all time. Surely replacing Tony Pulis for Alan Pardew is the worst decision a football club board has made in recent years. Also, imagine if they'd got rid of Pardew just a month earlier and think what position the Baggies would be in.

Swansea host Southampton on Tuesday and personally I hope that is a draw so that the drama continues to the last weekend of the Premier League.

Its a complex situation but say as much as you like. :-)

Biggest one for me ??
BURNLEY in the EUROPA next season !
Who could/would have predicted that ?

Arsenal's implosion !

Chelsea's possible ascent into Champions league if Spurs and Liverpool screw up....again !

Stoke deserve to drop really. All that time in the top flight and never invested sufficiently in their players or managers.
Swansea....Probably for the same reason. Must have made their board a lot of money from selling their best players, but it's finally looking like it'll cost them top flight status.
Southampton my tip for the third team to go down.
And after yesterdays' result 馃槚 have to hand it to West Brom. I really hope they make survival after what they showed yesterday.

@Picklebobble2 I think Spurs will finish top four personally. I agree Stoke deserve relegation because they have been crap all season under two different managers. Crap defense AND don't score goals...

Only Shaqiri has played to his reputation level and he will be gone next season. As a Burnley fan, I would love to have him and maybe his the sort of player who we can aim for now.

@Picklebobble2 I have a real soft spot for the baggies, I used to work down the road from the stadium, nice to see them stay up but not at the cost of our CL spot 馃槕

@Burnley123 It will be interesting to see if Burnley can hang on to Dyche now his star will be in the ascendancy.
Bound to be a few chair-people keen to acquire his services !

But you're right i think if the board want to keep Dyche they may have to stump up some serious transfer money if he's to move them up to that next level.

@InOtterWords I agree. I think the WBA board pulled the trigger too quickly on Pulis and after that it was panic stations !

@Picklebobble2 The two things that may protect us from losing him are:

A) We play defensive football and most big teams hate that.
B) Big teams have unimaginative recruitment. Look at all the old mediocrities who keep getting PL jobs.

Still, if Everton, West Ham or Newcastle came calling, I would be worried. I think if Dyche says he's taken us as far as he can, nobody would disagree. I think Tony Pulis would be a good replacement actually. I know he is not for everyone but with our squad, he is the closest thing to a like-for-like replacement.

@Picklebobble2 I think West Brom fired him because the board and their fans had ideas 'above their station'. They got bored and complacent with the football style and fired him at the first slight dip in form. Its arrogance and stupidity in my view. Outside the big six, nobody has a right to stay in the Premiership.

@Burnley123 Be interesting to see what he could do with a little more creativity or invention within the Burnley squad.....Guess we'll see !
Yeah no excuses from the West Brom. board. Went about it all the wrong way
