Will steven Gerrard be enough of a retard to go to Rangers the scum?

@Burnley123 The English pundits commenting on it (not including ones involved in Scottish football like Sutton) seem to have no clue about the scale of the job. They get the big club pressure and that they're behind us but don't seem to realise how far behind and how much it would take for him to succeed. They also don't seem to realise how bad the club is behind the scenes. That's two board memebers Paul Murray and Barry Scott (not from cillit bang ads) left today. Dave King is in trouble with the takeover panel as he hasn't provided the 11 million neeeded and legal action is being taken. This is a man who came in promising a warchest and hasn't delivered one bit. There are also still people behind the scenes who were involved in the death of the old club. Your Shearer's and Lawrence's though think it's just a poor Rangers team that has to close the distance from 2nd (they're actually 3rd) to 1st.

@thatscottishguy I knew there were some problems but that is bad. They also have about half the budget from Rangers and have to start from a lower base. Their fans expect them to compete but they just can't. I see that job as a manager's graveyard.

Also, Gerrard is too inexperienced and only getting it because of his playing record. It is a really stupid reason to appoint a manager. Burnley once had Chris Waddle and he was a disaster.

It gets attention, they think they can get young liverpool players and their fans will react to the big name. You hit the problem there. In Glasgow 2nd is last and the idiots in charge of the club want the same as the fans. Instant success. Really it will at least take several years and that's assuming King with his very shady past is actually going to stabilise the club and take it forward.

This means he'll be successful apparently.

Nearly as much experience as Gerrard as well.
