Which is the most over-achieving club in the Premiership?

No prizes for guessing my choice. Sean Dyche for manager of the season.

Easily Burnley this year. Especially looking at the players. No names stand out and make you think they should be even close to where they are.

@thatscottishguy Correct 😜

I gave your team credit, stop making me regret it.

@thatscottishguy I think transfermarkt.com has us in the relegation zone. On paper, we are one of the worst teams in the league.

Also, our wage budget is 37 million, which is the lowest apart from the newly promoted sides.

37 mil is the lowest. Fucking hell that's ridiculous.

@thatscottishguy IKR. But that is the Premiership. The biggest teams have five times that. What is Celtic's wage bill?

I think the newly promoted teams pay a bit less than us but it won't be much under 30 mil.

No idea but nowhere near I would assume.

@thatscottishguy I read the average player in your squad earns under £800,000 a year, so it must be between 20 and 30 mil, depending on the size of the squad.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
We got around £3 mil for the treble. Sunderland got £99.9 mil for finishing at the bottom.

@thatscottishguy I found another source which says your wage bill is 52mil. I can believe that tbf because champions league, big crowds and merchandise all count.

At 37 mil, Burnley will be making a huge profit and underpaying players. It'll go up next season.

Yeah, the Sunderland thing is a joke and I'm also against parachute payments. In spite of that, they somehow got relegated again.

Have you seen Sunderland will have a Netflix programme on this season. Will be up in summer apparently and I can't wait😂. I'm waiting for the premier league bubble to burst. If the money stops, a lot of clubs are in big trouble.

@thatscottishguy Could happen but then it keels just rising and expanding into foreign markets

Sunderland yeah. That movie will be in the horror section.

If netflix are interested in tragic football stories I have one from 2012 onward they could cover😜.
