chaging swimming pool water colour

In the Rio olympics in the diving pool the water just turned murky green just like overnight and nobody knows what happened. The pool used for swimming is still nice and clear but the pool for the diving its all murky green and nobody knows why.

Any suggestions

This is a swimming pool not a pond so should not get things like alge and it happened overnight
