It was an awful time to be a Burnley fan. Losing two nil at home to Barnsley in the championship, then my dad puts the car radio on to learn about another hat trick for Alan Shearer.
Later, Radio Lancashire would read out Scottish football results and learn about Rangers winning multiple consecutive titles.
