NY Isles won 4 cups in a row (1980).

But some of those earlier Montreal Canadian teams were ridiculous.

@SW-User The Islanders won 19 playoff series in a row from 1980-1984. I doubt that record will ever be broken.

Plus my Pens sucked then lol.

@SW-User I was an Islanders fan. Actually, if I remember right, they almost lost to Pittsburgh in 1983. 5th game (best of 5 series) they scored two goals in the last few minutes to pull it out. Trottier was my favorite. He also won two Cups with the Pens after.
