When You're Hurting, God Hears and Cares

You cry. Tears are prayers, too. They travel to God, when we can't speak our sorrows. Psalm 56:8. Tears are meant to cleanse our spirit and wash away our sorrows. We never have to carry our burdens alone.

You pray. And what you don't have the words to say, the Holy Spirit utters groanings that cannot be heard on our behalf, speaking our heart to our Father above, all the words that we cannot express at that time.

Then you bare your heart to God, who hears and knows our every secret sorrow, releasing them like butterflies in the wind, to fly to heaven and land in God's loving arms and heart, for safe keeping.

There's not one tear that falls from your eyes, that God does not know, care, or think about. It was for those tears he died, so you could let go and let God take care of your every hurt. And when they reach heaven, we leave them there, as we know that God knows best, what to do with them, and he knows best what to do for us. We know he has our best interest at heart, so we can trust him. Every time we ask, he hears, and starts to work on our behalf, because of our faith. We can rest assured that he's doing everything possible, to help us and guide us, as we asked. Every prayer, no matter the size, is important to him, and he knows and counts every single tear, that falls from your eyes.

The God of all comfort keeps watch over your weeping. He gathers up all your tears. Like a mother sitting beside her child’s sickbed, God marks every sigh of discomfort and pain.

As we release our cares to God, his Holy Spirit comforts our hearts and give us a peace, love, and joy, that passes all understanding. When we keep our eyes upon Jesus, focusing only on him, the cares of this world, grow dim, in the light of his grace, and then fade away.

Thank you so much for this. It really is a great eye opener and I never really thought of it like this but tears as a prayer too? It certainly makes sense. I often feel that now when I think about it. Thank you Lady Grace so much for this message. And may we all have a wonderful Blessed Thanksgiving holiday. And we really do have so much to be thankful for. One thing that always lifts me up is knowing that I don't have to look very far to see someone else who has it so much worse. When possible... I try to bless them if I can because the blessings come from the Lord and I am just the delivery driver. I tell them that. Don't glorify me... Glorify our Lord.
