I get that feeling of fear too. I understand what they mean when they say people \"quaked\" at the sight of angels (in this biblical reference, I\'m using it as an illustration rather than as an expression of faith). It\'s hard to get past the quaking. Don\'t feel bad if you pull away. I think this is a normal reaction.
Once in a dream I was on the passenger\'s side of the car, together with a man who was driving. I\'ve had many, many people populating my dreams that seem too complex and real to be produced by my own mind, conjuring dream images.
In this dream, I did something different. Instead of participating in the dream as I would normally do, I turned my head toward the driver and really scrutinized his face. I could see every detail, as if we were together while awake. It was none of that muddled dreamscaping that I normally drift through. I wasn\'t \"creating\" his features on the fly.
I shot a thought with great intensity at him. I said \"who ARE you???\" Then, it was his turn to be frightened. He got caught in my stare and his expression was like \"busted!\" He vanished, the dream ended and I woke up.
I thought I would learn more in later dreams. Instead, the dream strangers stopped appearing. No more dream socializing for me. Too bad. It was just getting interesting.
