I went through something similar! As soon as I chose to draw closer to the Lord, an all out battle fell upon me, I felt like I was losing every person in my life, and I was playing for keeps, People were treating me poorly, and I was still drawing closer to the Lord despite my circumstances I did all I could to line up to the Good Lords will, and Chose to Love the Lord High above all else, Then even though I was playing for keeps when it came to people, it wasn't meant to be BUT!! Jesus would never leave nor forsake me!! And He was my greatest desire!! And He gave me beauty for ashes, and that beauty kept on growing brighter and brighter and brighter until it was all that was left!! Glory unto GOD I am finally close to the Lord like I first desired, and He is close to me and it's truly truly beautiful the way it was supposed to be since the beginning!! Keep going keep your eye upon the Lord! Those who endure are the ones the Lord will deliver!!
