The existence of God is an extraordinary claim. It asserts a conscious being of infinite power created the universe,

monitors human behavior, answers prayers, and intervenes in history. That claim requires extraordinary evidence.
Asking someone why they do not believe in God gets the entire framework backwards.
The question is never why you do not believe something. The question is always why you should.
Absence of disproof is not proof. It never has been.
