No God, No Good

No God, no distinction between right and wrong.

No God, no morals.

No God, no peace.

No God, no laws to keep us safe from harm.

No God, no perfect love.

No God, no rules to protect us.

No God, no distinction between truth and lie.

No God, every form of evil is permissible.

No God, no good..

NOPE

If you behave well only because of an everlasting fear, you are not a good person. You are a morally corrupt person, kept in check by a constant threat.

Those of us who don't fear hellfire and yet still treat our fellow humans with decency and respect; those are the good souls; those are the ones you want to emulate.

Where would good behavior come from? What was its source?

Evolution.

Early humans were more successful at propagating the species if they worked in cooperating groups. Anthropologists say we evolved genetically and culturally to live in groups of 50 to 150 people.

It's not perfect though; protection of the in-group allows a certain amount of hatred of out-groups. It takes more maturity and understanding to see all of humanity as the in-group.

Evolution.

According to whom?

The scientist you claim point to god. They may believe in a god, but they still know reality from fantasy.

The scientists that I know do not believe in evolution. They know God is real and evolution is fantasy.

Is this your way of telling us you don't know any scientists???

BTW, evolution isn't a "belief." Evolution is the explanation supported by massive amounts of evidence. If new evidence came to light, falsifying evolution and providing a better explanation of the evidence at hand, scientists views would change. Just they way they did when Einstein provided better explanations that fit more evidence than Isaac Newton's explanations.

Science isn't about belief; it's about explanations that best fit the data.
