I've noticed quite a few atheists like to post their nonsense here in the 'God/Creator' section. Why?

Why? Why do they have such a passionate obsession with something they claim to not even believe in? Could it be because, deep down, they're still searching for meaning in their pointless lives, or could it be because they know, deep down, that they're wrong?

I guess only God knows, because they certainly don't.

As if religious people ever stfu and stop proselytizing.
@MethDozer It's called freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. Do you have an issue with those two concepts? 🤨

@MethDozer What "hypocrisy"? ALL I did here was ask why they're so concerned about what OTHER people believe.

@Bel6EQUJ5 Why are religious people so concerned about what other people believe?
@Bel6EQUJ5 They claim to not believe in God (or the gods - whatev), but they're always on their soapboxes telling anyone who will listen to them for more than two seconds why they're so convinced that God doesn't exist.

@MethDozer Not in my country they're not. I don't know where you live, but where I live we haven't had a Jehovah's Witness knock on our door in years.
And again, if that's what they want to do, then they're free to do it, but what puzzles me is why self-proclaimed atheists get all so hot and bothered by those of us (the vast majority, by the way) who believe there is more to reality than just this life, and who do NOT preach to those who don't want to listen.

@Bel6EQUJ5 Why does it puzzle you that atheist comment on religion and "worry" about what people believe in. Yet you don't hold the religious to the same standard?

Here's the deal, atheist tend to to after the religious, because the religious typically and historically try and often succeed in making their beliefs I to laws and social obligations for all
@MethDozer I hold everyone to the same standards, but in my experience it isn't the Christians who are the bothersome lot; it's the atheists!

@Bel6EQUJ5 But you're being bothersome now ,Are all your posts about atheists? Why are you so concerned about what atheists do or do not believe. On here the posts by religious people outnumber the atheists like 10 to one.
@kodiac Oh, the irony! You're saying this within the section of SW called 'God/Creator'. Why are you even here?
And how the HELL am I being "bothersome" by simply posting opinions that you have the free will to ignore?

@Bel6EQUJ5 show me one case where atheists have used the law to expert their beliefs in anyone?

1-2-3-GO!!!
@MethDozer Now what are you going on about?
@popmol Have you been sniffing glue? Are you completely deluded? I live in a country where it is:
1. Perfectly legal for a baby to be aborted when it's nine months old.
2. Illegal for a parent to try to prevent the government from taking away THEIR child if that child thinks that he or she is actually the opposite gender.
3. Where masks and vaccinations were mandatory, and the penalties for refusal included ostracisation and loss of employment.
Who came up with these evil ideas? Christians? No, of course not!
MethDozer · M
@Bel6EQUJ5 thank the stars Christians aren't in charge

@Bel6EQUJ5 I'm here because you posted and i read your post ,you're the reason I'm here and you have every right to ignore my response. If not for you none of this would have entered my mind . It's bothersome because you're judging everyone by your standards . How do you know I'm an atheist ?

Yes, I have standards. Everyone should have standards, beliefs they're willing to defend and live by. Don't you?
kodiac · 22-25, M
@Bel6EQUJ5 Sure do but I'll never try to force them on you or judge you just because i don't think you mesure up to mine
@kodiac How did this conversation get so off-topic?
@kodiac look at my answer here. This poster is a troll.

This is insane, you clearly have hammered your point in undeniably but somehow people still don't turn around.

Oh come on, don't tell me you actually believe that. And I'm not a "cultist". If you think I am, then name the cult.
I'm more than willing to alter any beliefs about reality I may happen to have, if there is sufficient reason to, but what I've seen here from those who reacted to my posts with irrational anger hasn't been terribly convincing.
The simple truth is that where I live, and in my own personal experience, it isn't the religious folk who bother me; it's the self-proclaimed atheists. They're like that joke that so many make about vegans telling others they're vegan at every opportunity they get.
