On nature,beauty and God

If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere - Vincent van Gogh. I find this so true . But the creation and its exquisite design is by no means an accident. It's beauty and and wonder reflects the beauty and majesty of it's creator -God. Every single thing from the smallest to the biggest on close examination had a specific purpose. Each individual here on earth has a purpose and meaning, they all reflect the glory and wisdom of God. The smallest instance is the joy you derive just watching the sunset gives joy and glory to God it's creator. I see God everywhere in the sunrise and sunset, in the rivulets and seas and in the mountains and ranges and I feel Him in the wind and and breezes. For me therein lies the meaning of life. Existentialist says we have to create our own meaning to life but I find meaning in life itself.

@NerdyPotato Adam and Eve were responsible for fall of of creation when they ate the forbidden fruit and fell for Satan's temptation. Yet Jesus the Son of God came to redeem the world , that is why I say the love God is poured out to humanity and creation when Jesus died on that cross.

@teachmetiger210503 you do realise that Genesis is purely metaphorical? Even priests admit as much. There was no Adam and Eve. There was no talking serpent. It's a story designed to explain extremely complex concepts to illiterate tribes two thousand years ago. It's difficult to understand anyone who takes this nonsense literally.

God is supposed to be all-knowing, yet in Genesis He wanders around Eden calling out to Adam and Eve because He doesn't know where they are.

@Richard65 I guess it 's a matter of faith and I believe in God and his word.
@teachmetiger210503 funny you bring that up while I read it myself just yesterday: https://similarworlds.com/christianity/bible-verses/4816493-I-saw-this-meme-that-made-me-think

It should be mentioned that the serpent in Eden, was not Satan. He wasn’t created in Hebrew mythology until much later . It was an actual snake.

@Emosaur The greatest power God has given man is choice and free will. He will not force us to worship him or obey him, but when we do this out of our free will God takes pleasure in them. No Satan set them up and Jesus took the fall by dying on the cross for you and me.

@Emosaur sin indeed has consequence but God 's love is far great er. The question is not whether God knows Adam and Eve would sin but the Question ❓ why he created them? Cause he love them! Love has conquered sin on the cross.

@Emosaur the answer is given, the clue is in the infinite wisdom of God.
@teachmetiger210503 creating people to be tortured is not love. Free will is not a factor if they wouldn't have existed. And only offering two outcomes, with eternal torture as one of them, isn't free will anyway. That's coercion.

@NerdyPotato my dear friend God created us because he loves us very very much . Of course he demands obedience not to torture but out of love.. and therein lies the relationship of a father and a child. God wants to do beautiful things with your life and show you wonderful things and the mysteries of life and therein lies the joy of living . without free will my friend we are mere robots , free will is the dignity of our soul and existence.
@teachmetiger210503 I hope he'll start showing wonderful things soon then. Btw, have you checked my post I linked somewhere here yet?

@NerdyPotato He will , there is no wisdom and knowledge beyond his reach. But of all miracles in life knowing Christ is the greatest. Once you taste his love the whole meaning of existence makes sense. By the way I want to read your writes send me the link.

@teachmetiger210503 here it is again: https://similarworlds.com/christianity/bible-verses/4816493-I-saw-this-meme-that-made-me-think
I'm not questioning his attributed power and wisdom, just his attributed love.
teachmetiger210503 · 36-40, M
@Emosaur I don't know if he knows or not but I know He also have faith in Adam and Eve and He also gave them the strength to resist temptation
@teachmetiger210503 but obviously not enough. And if don't know if he knows, does that mean you don't believe he's all knowing?

[@Nerd @NerdyPotato God of course knows everything ..... but as much as he knows they could fall into temptation he knows they could overcome it. The final say is in the choice given to them. Beyond that I rest it on the infinite wisdom of God.

Free will is useless without the knowledge to understand its consequences. It is necessary and the fall had to be planned in advance.
