Do you believe that God is watching for us ?

This much the same as another of Eckhart's verses:-

In giving us His love God has given us His Holy Spirit so that we can love Him with the love wherewith He loves Himself. We love God with His own love; awareness of it deifies us.


The zen man D.T. Suzuki quotes this with approval, comparing it with the Prajna wisdom of Zen.

I believe God can watch us, if He wishes... Plus, I feel there are other unseen entities watching us, as well, such as demons and angels. A lot of so-called "hauntings" are probably just cases of demonic oppression or infestation.

Like we're a spectator sport? I go with "you bet."

You mean like a torturer watches his victims writhe in their suffering? Sure. But why would a person worship that is the big question.

He doesn't seem interested in what is happening to us or our planet. If he communicated in the past, then why not now when we need him?
