Traffic Lights
Traffic Lights:
The function of a traffic light is to yield instructions to the drivers in their cars.
Green means you can go/be encouraged or suggested to move.
Amber is basically a warning.
Red means to stop or cease in your track.
Just as traffic lights yield instructions so does God.
Take note these instructions are planted in our hearts and minds so that when we get to an intersection(life), we know what to do.
How do we know these instructions?
Well, we have had the opportunity to learn through literature/ via a manual or guide we have read. A guide, such as rules for the road so we may be etiquette on the road. Just like the bible is a guide to how to live our lives.
God gives us the green light when He is pleased with us and our conduct. The green light can be a blessing sent your way, it can be an answered prayer, or it may be guidance.
When we are given the Amber light it is often God warning us. Warning us to stay clear of wicked ways because it will ultimately lead to ruin. It can be a toxic relationship, stopping you from going to a certain place or giving up friends and family who negatively impact your life.
The red light means we have stepped out of God’s presence and His will. This often leads God to go silent and may remove something He has given us and observed that we are making that specific thing a god; giving it praise instead of God. God also removes things from our lives because He saw that we are mismanaging it, and whatever you cannot manage you will lose until you learn how to manage it.
