no. despite every temptation to believe in a god, i am more comfortable with the truth in logic

@SW-User Logic isn't the realm of faith. It's like saying you won't see the latest movie because you don't like the color blue.

@Graylight no, it's not like saying that 😂 that's a terrible analogy. it's a bit more convoluted than that, to say the least. faith isn't my forte, tho, that's very true

@SW-User All I'm suggesting is those who apply faith to the template of science and reason are going to be disappointed. That template wasn't created for that study.

Wise believers will share their truth when asked, while evangelicals will confuse others by using the words "proof," "true" and "real." Fact is, the definition of faith is intrinsic and it cannot , by its nature, be held to the standards of science. Likewise, using scientific approaches to faith is equally as fruitless.

@Graylight that would explain why the entire concept of gods throughout antiquity is totally beyond me. i'm amazed anyone can get there, in fact, but very happy for those who feel blessed to be amongst the flock

@SW-User I hear you. The answers we find to the more esoteric questions are fo us and us alone. And how wonderful; I'd hate to think the Universe was that boring s to accept one narrow path.
