It is God's will and plan!

(Acts 24:15) ~
"And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
What that can mean for us?

Comfort when loved ones die. (2 Corinthians 1:3, and 4) ~
"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort other in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."
Freedom from a morbid fear of death. (Hebrews 2:15) ~
"And that he might set free all those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death."
A real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones. (John 5:28, and 29) ~
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."
@ChristianDailyWord Maybe I'm not understanding the post. There's no place in God's Word that says those who have died can come back, once they've crossed over, to reunite with those they left behind on earth. Not till Resurrection Day.

@LadyGrace

The word translated as "resurrection" comes from the Greek a-na'sta-sis, which means "raising up or "standing up again." A person who is resurrected is raised up from death and restored to life as the person they were before.

1 Corinthians 15:12, and 13 (NLT)
But tell me this--since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead? For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either.
Although the word "resurrection" is not in the Hebrew Scriptures, often called the Old Testament, the teaching appears there. Through the prophet Hosea, for example, God promised: "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; from death, I will recover them." Hosea 13:14 (NLT)

There will be those who will be resurrected to Heaven and those who are resurrected back to life on Earth just as we were originally purposed to be before Adam and Eve ruined that with their defiance. However, both Jesus and God are giving us another opportunity to gain what was lost.

Revelation 20:6 (NLT)
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them, the second death holds no power but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
The later resurrection will be to life on earth, which the vast majority of those brought back to life will enjoy! Psalm 37:29 (NLT)
The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.
