My ex husband looks like he’s 70.

He had a few strokes. I don’t know what to think. I really don’t care about him. I wonder if it’s Gods way of punishing him for what he did to me. He always cursed at God as well. He was cruel and didn’t fear God. His own witch mother curses him from what I’ve heard. Ironically, he mistreated me to please her and now she’s cursing him. A mothers curse isn’t good, it’s bad luck. I just saw his picture and he looks hideous. I hope God has the right plan for everyone.

@iamonfire696 thanks, I don’t even know if he got punished like he should . Anyway, he’s history

@SW-User well having strokes is a pretty bad punishment. He’s probably physically and cognitively impaired for the rest of his life. Nothing can make up for the abuse he caused you but at least he is suffering.

@iamonfire696 I can believe that and he’s probably very weak. The thing is miracles happen and maybe he will recover. You never know. He did hurt me and I personally won’t forgive him but my anger is fading. I’m too busy thinking about now then before.

@SW-User it depends how long it’s been since the stroke. The first 3 months are the most important and stroke survivors show the most improvement. After that the plateau happens. So if it’s been quite awhile he’s probably as recovered as he will ever be.

After my first stroke (a complication to surgery) they told me the danger period for a follow on stroke was 1 year. I had a follow on stroke at 1.5 years. And have several since. I was one of the lucky ones as my first stroke was in the U tract of my brain. I mostly affected my balance, equilibrium and fine motor skills. I have been through Acute Rehabilitation and was able to get around on a cane until the next stroke. The next one put me on a walker. I am now able to get around the house with my walker but must use a wheelchair when we go anywhere.
Going to get a neurological work up in couple of weeks because recently I've been falling even with the walker.

I’m really sorry that happened to you but I wish you the best. This may be silly but do you take a small dose aspirin daily? I heard it might prevent a stroke. I’m not sure but it might help in some way. @Randie

Thank you. Yes aspirin is doctor ordered daily for me.
