Muslims believe Jesus was the messiah but not God.

The Quran 5:75
{The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.}
Islam and Christianity are very similar especially right now.
@Islamreligion Especially with the abortion decision that just happened. I don't know if you are American or follow U.S. news
@Spunkylama
There have always been Christian extremists
So your “especially right now”
Doesn’t make sense to me at all.

As for the abortion laws in usa , yes I have heard however , From the interviews I have seen
They did not use religion to justify their decision but biology.

Wether you are a pro life
Or pro choice
Or in between
I wish America good luck

Have a good day.
Leaving abortion up to states is not basing their decision on biology. Trump placed Christian zealots on the supreme court and this why we are here now.

Jesus is the son of God. The term "Son Of God simply means God.
@Lichocolati then God has sons by the tons according to your logic.

@Islamreligion Yep he does. Jesus is the first born from the dead.
A messenger, or THE Messenger?
@MistyCee
The answer is in the verse in the post
@Islamreligion Indeed it is. I wish I could read the Koran in Arabic sometimes.
Does it have an indefinite article like English? (a) or only a definite article like Hebrew does (the or Ha)?

Translation really killed me with the Bible.
@MistyCee

The Quran unlike the Bible has no “versions “
So Muslims from all different sects actually
Read the same exact Quran. And
Anyone who studies Arabic will be able to read the original text of the Quran.
So we don’t have versions at all
But we have different “translations “
Because it’s hard to translate every word from Arabic to English (or any other language) and maintain 100% of the meaning.
If you plan to Read the Koran cover to cover
(Which I wholeheartedly encourage )

Then here are a few advices :

1/ the beauty of the Quran is in its Arabic
So please do take the time to listen to the Quran in its native language aside from reading a translation
I find it extremely beautiful
This is an example :

You can also type on YouTube “Quran” and you will find many videos.

2/ the Quran is not in chronological order
But from longest chapter to shortest.

3/ it is easy to misinterpret the Quran
Especially if you read a translation or with no biography /commentary
So if you come across a verse
That makes you think “what the hell did I just read”
Always make sure to double check.

Never hesitate to ask me anything

Have a good day 🌿

You are right about that because he is the son of God
@Cuteboy12
In Islam he is not God or the son of God.
But a prophet sent from God.
