We're all going some place when we die. Where will that be? Wherever you decide.

[c=008099]Jesus didn't leave us to guess. He told us our soul never dies. He said it ends up in one of two places, for eternity, and we get to decide which place that is. God doesn't make that choice for us.

It's so simple, some miss it altogether. God spelled it out for us, in His Word.

Jesus said we all have a sinful nature, and sin is the ONLY thing that condemns us and keeps us separated from God and heaven. It only makes sense that heaven wouldn't be heaven, if we dragged our sins in with us.

Jesus said, "Come to Me in prayer, if you love, and long to be with God for eternity. I will forgive your sins, so they no longer condemn you nor keep you separated from your Heavenly Father. I will see that you are forgiven and kept eternally secure by My grace, and through your faith in Me."

Why do we make that to be something hard to do, when it is so very simple? God is no liar. He loves you beyond all human understanding and wants you to be with Him in heaven. However, if you leave your soul's destiny to chance, sin will keep you forever separated from God. So you can see just how important it is, to prepare for the afterlife, right now. [/c]

No disrespect meant but here’s my 50 cents …. I expect no change.

How come it’s believed that ‘no man will enter heaven without excepting Christ’

Isn’t a good person a good person ~ isn’t an all loving Jesus excepting of this and forgiving of their uncertainty re beliefs in this world.

We are mortal

We do not know everything despite walking with faith … we get lost and feel anger towards evil beings and then we carry on because we have to.

Survival is on all levels

Mental, Emotional and Jesus knows this right ?

‘He knows we try and he knows we make mistakes’..

Isn’t that enough for a person to handle without thinking we’re not good enough to enter heaven ?

@Elanor Intervening because you have mentioned some interesting points and posted some great questions.

Let me try to answer your specific questions
Entering the heaven is no ordinary task. However we need not worry because Jesus has already simplified that extra ordinary task simple for us. We just need to have faith and accept Jesus as our savior. I know some may argue it to be unscientific without even bothering to reason logically. I have been dealing with many believers of other faiths and one of the scientific analogy that I use is....
It requires fuel to propel the rocket into the orbit. It really takes that extra bit of energy. Our faith acts as the fuel that propels our soul into God's kingdom.

I believe @LadyGrace have beautifully mentioned the reasons in the post itself in a very concise manner. I feel this is the simple and best explanation we can ever have.

Jesus has given us two options and he also mentioned to us the right option. Each option that we choose has different destination. If we choose the wrong option inspite of knowing the correct option, is it fair to expect Jesus take the blame?
About your last phrase
uncertainty re beliefs in this world
, do you mean uncertainty regarding different belief systems in this world? Do you mean different religions ?

Hey 😎
is it fair to expect Jesus take the blame?
Absolutely not - I don’t believe in blaming any entity or religion for a persons own wrong doing.

A person should take responsibility for their own mistakes - they could have chosen differently yet they didn’t and that’s on them.

I do - particularly people who believe in multiple deity

@Elanor Thank you 🙂
I am glad that we both agree on the first part.

I understand the complexities involved in the second part of your question and it is logical.

Many people in this world do face this challenge. However God loves everyone and for that reason he has already made sure that every one on this planet will receive his message.
Missionaries are working tirelessly and selflessly in different parts of this world to ensure that they will help the unfortunate. For example even this post serves the same purpose. We need to thankful to God and also to those who work tirelessly for God's glory.

Sorry I'm late with answering this. My sister is in the hospital so I was away for a bit, but I'd like to discuss this and answer your important questions.

The reason I and other followers of Christ believe that 'no man will enter heaven without accepting Christ, is because it is Jesus who said so in His Word. It is He who set the standard for salvation, not man.

Everyone in the world, Jesus said, need to have their sins forgiven, if they are to enter heaven. It's not about being good or bad. Sin is sin, no matter what that sin might have been. Therefore, the point Jesus was making is that all sin, no matter what type of sin, keeps us separated from God. He is in heaven, where there is no sin and He is so Holy, he cannot look upon sin. If sin could enter heaven, it would no longer be heaven.

We're all in the same spiritual boat. When Jesus said we're not good enough to enter heaven, He was only saying that because our nature is one that has sin in it, it naturally does not match nor meet God's perfect standard for entering heaven UNTIL we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins. Remembering that we cannot bring sin into heaven with us. The important thing to remember here, is that Jesus came to specifically save the world, not to condemn it. He came to offer forgiveness of our sins, as our Mediator between God and man, so that sin could not bring us condemnation and seperation from God and heaven, ever again. Once our sins are forgiven, they are erased and remembered no more. We are then spiritually reunited with God the Father, forevermore, and heaven awaits us in the future. If we do nothing and leave our destiny to chance, our sins will keep us separated from God and heaven, forever. Jesus turns no one away. He wants everyone in heaven with Him.
