We're all going some place when we die. Where will that be? Wherever you decide.

[c=008099]Jesus didn't leave us to guess. He told us our soul never dies. He said it ends up in one of two places, for eternity, and we get to decide which place that is. God doesn't make that choice for us.

It's so simple, some miss it altogether. God spelled it out for us, in His Word.

Jesus said we all have a sinful nature, and sin is the ONLY thing that condemns us and keeps us separated from God and heaven. It only makes sense that heaven wouldn't be heaven, if we dragged our sins in with us.

Jesus said, "Come to Me in prayer, if you love, and long to be with God for eternity. I will forgive your sins, so they no longer condemn you nor keep you separated from your Heavenly Father. I will see that you are forgiven and kept eternally secure by My grace, and through your faith in Me."

Why do we make that to be something hard to do, when it is so very simple? God is no liar. He loves you beyond all human understanding and wants you to be with Him in heaven. However, if you leave your soul's destiny to chance, sin will keep you forever separated from God. So you can see just how important it is, to prepare for the afterlife, right now. [/c]

I guess I will be lost and alone as am now in life
@Diaermatty That's not how God sees it. Salvation is for everyone....not just some. That is purely your choice. Not one of us has to miss heaven.

@LadyGrace oh I believe in God and Jesus

I know what my ideal heaven would be
@Diaermatty Then? Why would you be lost?
Diaermatty · 56-60, M
Just hope God understands and pray forgives regularly

@LadyGrace no clue I lost now as is
@Diaermatty He knows you better than you know yourself. He is always ready to forgive. That doesn't give us a license to keep sinning though. He knows when our heart is sincere and we want a new life in Him. Forgiveness is a two-way street. We want to turn away from deliberately choosing to sin, which is repentance, and we're not wanting to repeat sinful habits. We don't want to take advantage of His grace.
@Diaermatty But that's something you can change, if you want to. Jesus turns no one away, who wants to be saved. It is a willful commitment.
@Diaermatty
oh I believe in God and Jesus
Many do, but that isn't the same as a personal commitment and relationship with God. When we're willing to turn away from our old life and way of thinking and doing things we know are against God, and invite Him into our heart and life to be our Savior, we repent, God forgives, then we start a new life in Christ. That's also when God sends the Holy Spirit to live in you as a Helper and Guide, transforming your heart and life for the good, which brings peace, hope, love, and joy into your life. We must decide where our priorities are.
@Diaermatty It is not Jesus that condemns you. It is sin. Once you ask Jesus to forgive you, He does, and you start a brand new life in Christ, as He forgives every sin and remembers them no more.
@Diaermatty That devil tries to tell us we're not good enough for God or that we have too many sins. The Jesus says just the opposite. He says, "I love you." He doesn't love our sins, but he does love us as a person. He said that whoever comes to him wanting forgiveness, He shall never turn away. He came to save all of us sinners. Not just some. He wants to see us all in heaven.
@Diaermatty Jesus loves us no matter who we are, or what we've done. Not the sin.....but US...as a person. He turns no one away.

@Ferise1 I'm sure that devil would want you to believe that, but sometimes we feel we may have lost Him, but Jesus said He never leaves us. We don't go by feelings. We stand on God's promises.
@Ferise1 When you gave yoir heart and life to Jesus, John 3:16 and 17 says it was forever. There's no way you are going to hell. It is God who keeps us secure, not us. Perhaps you have slipped away as we all do at times but just get right back to praying to God and reading your Bible, and fellowship with Him, walking according to His Word. He loves you and will never abandon you. It's us who sometimes move away from Him. You may want to rededicate your life and fellowship with other believers.

@Ferise1
l received Jesus in 2004 but l lost him and lm falling daily until l soon go to eternal hell. We all shrivel and die and nothing happens after. Deal with it.
Jesus said otherwise, and if you don't believe Him, then you cannot claim to have given your life to Christ or received Him as Savior. And don't talk down to me. I won't have to "deal with it". My sins have been forgiven, as I asked Jesus to do so, and He did. On the other hand, those who reject Jesus' offer of salvation, are the ones who are still separated from Christ, and will have to deal with it. If not, by their own choice and refusal to ask Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing of their sins, those same sins shall keep them separated from God for eternity. Out of sheer stubbornness and refusal to repent of their sins. Jesus set the standard. Eternity is an awfully long time to get it wrong. I don't make the standards. Jesus does, so it would be wise to take Him up on His offer. No one has to miss heaven. We don't just die and that's it. Jesus told us our spirit NEVER dies. Being perfect, He's incapable of lying. Where you spend eternity, depends on your choice to follow Jesus, or not. He said so. Not me.

@Ferise1 You almost say that as if you're bragging. Not one of us has to miss Heaven. If we do, it will be because we made that choice and that's the only reason.

@Ferise1 How can you fall if you say you don't believe in heaven or hell or God? You said it's meaningless. You also said,
We all shrivel and die and nothing happens after. Deal with it.
@Ferise1 There is no fear in perfect love. 1 John 4:18 There's no need to be scared when one comes to Jesus. His love is perfect, and keeps us forever protected and secure.
