Mean Italians ?

I took this photo in Rome, Italy a while ago, it's what looks like cactus plants on a window sill. Someone doesn't want people sitting on their window sill ..does it seem ridiculous or mean ? It's right beside the Bus Station. What d'y think ?

Even if it had nice flowers and plants - I dont think people would just flop their big behinds on them. Cactus are low maintenance.

@MarmeeMarch it's at a bust station and when there is a shortage of seats, you know..people need to sit

@usher Oh yea - so sitting on a pile of dirt is better than standing or waiting for a seat.

@MarmeeMarch They can't sit because of the cactus. But I've seen people sit on window sills when waiting long periods of time, so I guess the cactus is a deterrent not to sit

@usher Yea - I have seen the park benches that have metal things in the way so bums dont sleep on them.
