If I believed in the Hebrew God, I'd have to go with the Devil's side since psychics are too autonomous for his usual tastes. The God of the Bible typically chooses heroes who'll basically just instantly defer to him on any matter. The only struggles they ever really have are figuring out what God wants and how best to comply with his commands. Psychics, however, seek to read the spirit world on their own, which runs contrary to this approach. In a way, trying to see the future, read people's feelings, and communicate with the dead is like usurping the role of God, which is a huge no-no.

Try Genesis 18: 16-33 where Abraham pleads for Sodom.

@Pfuzylogic Accepting the premise that God was acting authentically in that interaction kinda fucks up the whole omniscience thing. Infinite being older than time and space with no weaknesses, wolve together our DNA atom by atom, but never considered the moral implications of collateral deaths.

Abraham reacted with a normal human compassion when pleading for the lives of the citizens of Sodom. God sent his Angels to go and look in the city of Sodom and the men in the city acted by their lists and thought that the Angels would be easy to rape.
The Angels blinded them with no real effort.
Seems to me that people that tried to take advantage of the defenseless earned their demise the hard way. You are right though, God knows us down to the DNA.
