I Believe In God

it has always seemed obvious to me that there is a God.

Except that you then have to explain who or what made God. I respect your beliefs but I have been unable to rationalise any way in which it makes sense to me that a god, or gods, exist. My sister, however, is a strong believer and attends church regularly.

It is perfectly rational to believe in a God just as it is rational to believe an intelligent being (not blind forces forces) wrote the software program I am using now!

But that's exactly what you believe. You think god came from nothing or that he's always existed.
You fully embrace the concept of one un-caused cause but reject another.

Isn't that just a modern example of the watch maker argument?
It has unfortunately been refuted for quite some time.

But perhaps you could explain why it's just as obvious that god made the world as it is that a man made your software
