Therefore the logical alternative is an all-powerful, infinitely complex being capable of creating everything but without origin himself.

Can one of you please do me the courtesy of explaining how that is the logical assumption?

That's the whole thing with religion, it's illogical, and it's FAITH and BELIEF you must have in something of which you know nothing, it's not logical and never has been or will be.
People trying to say it is are most likely crazy or religious fanatics of some kind.

I'm not atheist, I'm also not a religiously fanatic nutcase.. I suppose I lie on the more spiritual side of things.

I agree. I just wonder at the people who claim that evolution is absurd and the big band illogical but that a eternal sky daddy who loves them is common sense
