Why are many American Christians so opposed to immigration? That's directly in violation of their religion. [Spirituality & Religion]

The bible contradicts itself in a lot of ways on a lot of subjects, but it is very consistent on the subject of immigration. The bible is extremely pro-immigration. There is an abundance of bible verses about "treating the sojourner as your friend or neighbor" and "inviting them to your feasts."

it's not just the xtians.

weird things is.. most of these people were/are immigrants themselves.

and i'm also not sure how they think they're 'possessionism' is going to work out.

i mean, what part of the land do they really own? even if they have a deed .. it doesn't belong to them.

it can always be ejected by our governing agencies.

it's down to simple bigotry.

nothing more. people tell me to go back to europe? or africa? i go "tell that to my cherokee/blackfoot side, i dare you!"

weird thing also is.. those who go on about immigration the most are the one's who used it the most.
