It varies according to the country in which it is implemented. There are 70 serious sins in Islam compared to the 10 commandments in Judaism or Christianity. Shariah include these 70 commandments along with civil and domestic legislation. It can be as extreme a the death penalty for homosexuality or changing religion, to standard laws like no alcohol or exposed hair or flesh in public.
