why do alot of preachers have a bone to pick with single guys? [Spirituality & Religion]

Apparently this a growing trend in churches where pastors will spend a take it upon themselves to bash all the men for not having wives and tell them to "put down the video games and man up!" Why is this a growing trend? and don't the realize that this does more harm than good?

That is definitely wrong, but no true man of God would think of such a thing. Not if they are true disciples of Christ. However, there are a lot of false prophets out there saying they believe in Jesus, but do just the opposite. They will have to answer for that. I have not encountered any pastors that believe that way, yet. People just need to stay away from pastors like that. You're right. It does more harm than good and God holds these pastors responsible for who they lead astray. He says their blood is on that pastor's hands, if he leads them astray. Or completely away from God.
