I wonder if christians realize what happens when you die. [Spirituality & Religion]

I know for a lot of christians the idea is that you shuffle off this mortal coil and start partying hard in HEAVAAAAN!😎
I think that's what most people think when they think about it at all.
But what is the biblical support for that idea? As far as i know, when you die you go to sleep. And you stay asleep until christ returns. And THEN you gut up into heaven.

The concept of "heaven" is simply a need for most mankind to have a reason to carry on living. Could you imagine the hysteria if it were proven that there is no afterlife? The faithful's entire reason for living is for that big buffet in the sky.

@MetalGreymon: just imagine how "Christian" they would behave if their moral compass and motivation were obsolete. I'm sure there is a heaven and God will reward their selfish reasons for not acting like complete animals.😏
