I'm not in favour of religion being taught in school unless it's a religion class. In that case all religions would presumedly be studied and the state could not be accused of endorsing any one religion.

@katielass: You underestimate the number of religions in the world. The major six is the limit of most schoolagers attention span.

@malizz: No I don't underestimate anything. When we teach our kids history we don't cover every last thing that happened. We cover the important things that changed the course of history. Well, these days evidently they don't even teach that but the point is, religion classes, and they do still exist, do not teach every religion, they teach about the most common ones.
