I don't think it will. The string is in the middle, that burns and reaches the layer where the chemical reaction liberates a lot of heat and pressure that breaks out of the shell and shockwaves are felt. With a single bullet, that amount of reaction can't take place. If it's shown in some
Movies, then yeah, they haven't read the basics.
