@sassyD15: thats why not many know about dynamite ,it would sweat nitro and was very unstable as you say ,
you can shoot c4 ,burn it as fuel and it wont explode with out a primer cord ,or a detonator made to trigger it ,,
but you can get some old farmers who still use it to blow up stumps and lake fish and such LOL ,but there are safer more effective explosives now days

@sassyD15: well I have never seen it ,but I will take you word for it ,,but I have seen back in the day stick dynamite used for both that why I said that ,
but a bunch of M80's can substitute
and the heating chemicals in a MRE can do a pretty mean jobs too if you know how to use it ,
I made a bottle bomb with wild cherries that let some punks know they picked the wrong house to terrorize a little ole lady ,
if I needed to re demonstrate ,ball bearings are more impressive
they got the hint
one of my best friends that was his job in Nam ,M18 Claymore mine and bouncing Betty's ,
and I was over the Gunners mates and the armory until I went into Search and Rescue in the later 70's ,
I prefer saving lives to taking them ,or nitro accidentally blowing someone to kingdom come from dripping sticks
