It's better to share religion when one has been asked, imo. Otherwise, unsolicited proselytizing can be annoying.

Has the person been rude (be honest) or condemnation toward others? If so, I encourage the person to have more love and grace. If the witness is in love, praise Jesus for someone being excited for Him!
