If that's the interpretation you recieve from the quote then maybe that's a sign that breaking the habit of deviance is the next step you need to take to grow in the present moment?

Since I don't exactly know your situation I don't really know what to say about this but I'm sure things will work out for the best even if the best isn't what we think it is right now.
