@MasterLee: Moses had a motorcycle. It says in the babble that he came down the mountain on his Triumph and that the roar of his Triumph could be heard across the land.

@suzie1960: nice

How about just one simple verse?

@CopperCicada: If your peers say political views they made an error in their zeal. If your peers say Christians should treat others with anything but unconditional love they aren't saved.

@CopperCicada: In that case you should find another church. The one I attend isn't like that and the last one I attended wasn't like that either. Will be praying for God to give you guidance in this decision.
@Malphas: I've never gotten too mich into Revelation. A lot of people just read it as entertainment rather than for spiritual growth.

None, it's a load of crap.

The whole book of Job. That is my life story in female form.
@TearDropsOfLove: Wow. Did that which you most feared befall you? Sorry, That's harsh. Job is fascinating in that it implies a kind of business relationship between God and Satan.

@puck61: The full test. Satan got defeated again.
@TearDropsOfLove: Yeah, that's his job!

Wow, so much to choose from.

Either the bit in Exodus that condones slavery, and even goes into how you can beat your slave so long as they don't die within a day or two of that beating - OR - the bit in Deuteronomy where it explains that a woman must marry her rapist if said rapist pays her father some silver.

The bible makes no sense to me. I can't be arsed reading it.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Professional: What's that supposed to prove?
@suzie1960: That it's a collection of historically accurate documents...
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Professional: It isn't, as you'd know if you read it. It's a collection of myths and fairy stories which ocassionally make reference to some genuine place or event. Much like Harry Potter refers to London and King's Cross Railway station (both real places).

Changes usually. Let's say James 2 today.
