Celebration of the freedom of slavery under the rule of pharoah. The Jews where under horrible oppression and that's when God sent Moses to speak to the Pharoe. It may not make sense to you why we celebrate a date from so long ago. But remember God split the red sea for them to cross and be safe, he sent plagues while they "passed over" the Jews who had faith in the almighty. In the same way we remember that day we are remembering hope. How situations can change with the help of god. They went from slaves of exhausting work to free under the guidance of Moses to serve the almighty!!! Praise him! 💕
