Truth is there are many books that are much better than I at explaining it... though you do have to have an open mind. Let me know when you are... the evidence is very strong, though it's not empirical in that sense. You do have to finish with faith.

So.. to summarize - the Bible is the story of mankind and God's relationship in order to reconcile to him. Unlike other scriptures, it's accurate and portrays not just what happened, but fulfilled prophecy. We have the example of 6000 years of human history... of God's actions raising nations and evangelizing peoples... we have the Bible proven correct again and again. We have the 50+ minute constants in the universe, without one of which, we could not exist... but most of all we have the example of zillions of saved lives, changed hearts and peoples.

The evidence is there. Just don't be stupid.
