They say God never gives us more than we can handle. [Spirituality & Religion]

But doesn't the reality of suicide prove that is fundamentally untrue?

No because we don't know the circumstances

@Celine: As a Christian l I don't believe God does give us more than we can handle. He was referring to Christians when he said that. However, there may be a rare few who may have a mental disorder to begin with. I honestly don't know though. I lost two children and two homes, so I can say God helped me through that.

@Celine: This is what I'm saying. We do not know the state of mind or circumstances of these people. I've never in my 44 years of being a Christian, heard of a Christian killing theirself. Ho knows...that person may not have been a Christian in the first place. There are too many variations on why people kill themselves, to blame them on God giving them more than they can bear. It could have been a Number of reasons. We can't blame God for everything. I believe when he said in his Word that he would not give us more than we can bear, he meant it. He always keeps His Word. He cannot lie. Satan causes people's mind's to snap. God wouldn't do such a thing.

@Celine: Excuse me. I always yawn when I'm bored. You've been rude, argumentative, and sarcastic to me from the get-go, as GreatLakesGuy told you. Your name is not God, so what you think of me means nothing. You who claim to come from the stars.

@Celine: You are the most insecure person I've ever seen. Twisting things around all time. You're delusional and arrogant as GreatLakesGuy said. He wouldn't have said it if he didn't mean it. Bye now.
