Some Judeo-Christian theologies hold Satan to simply be another agent of God, hence not evil.

would make sense to give up this God-Satan-dualism and "make a conscious decision etc." but this shouldn't mean to give up the concepts of good and evil too because then all what's left is "might is right"
Xuan, this is why man-made theologies are just that...man made. God never left mankind to guess the answers. He was very clear about what happened when Satan started a war in heaven. Yet man wishes to believe and trust in himself, over God. Man deems himself smarter and wiser than God. Yet he has never figured out how to save himself so he can have eternal life, has he? God gave man a choice, but man knows better, right? That's why he has fixed the world. 🤔

@GraceFromEP: Fix the world? World's not broken. It's exactly as God intended. He's all powerful and his will is undeniable, yes? So this world he created is exactly as it should be, including Satan formerly Lucifer. Surely if he were so vile a creature, God would simply not allow him to meddle in his creation, at least, not in a way that God doesn't approve of. Honestly it's almost pagan how some "monotheists" seem to really believe there's any sort of challenge to the will of an almighty god. How could anything oppose the Almighty? It's a failure of faith to think so. Satan is not God's enemy, he's God's inquisitor.

@Xuan12: And she blocks me. XD
Klesingo · 61-69, F
@Xuan12: No. If the Almighty does support evil, there is no hope for justice ever. Then this God is Satan himself and doesn't deserve to be worshipped. But the father of Jesus is not the God of this world.

@Xuan12: She blocked you, and you deserve it for your cynicism

This world is a complete mess, and you say everything is fine? Shame on you.
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
@Klesingo: I don't actually believe that it's fine, but it is the way it was meant to be. It's a reference to an earlier conversation I had with her. Though I do actually think Satan as an agent of God is a better theology than him as an enemy of God. For what other reason would the Almighty and Allknowing leave Satan alone in the Garden of Eden with the first two humans if not to test them? And why would he permit him to torture Job so, when Job had been such an upstanding devotee? If we were meant to live in paradise, why would God have created the Earth at all, rather than keep us in heaven?

Though you're right, there there may be no hope for justice as we see it. If God's will in undeniable, as many hold it to be, then it is his idea of justice that will prevail.
