If science proved that God existed, would u (atheists) believe in Him ? [Spirituality & Religion]

This is a very difficult thing to ask. Because there is so much out here in the world that is concrete. Yet they still deny the existence of Jesus and the Crucifixion, and of course God Almighty. But isn't it funny that they believe in the Egyptians, Aztec, Incas, dinosaurs, dragons, George Washington, Geronimo, Caesar, and of course the fact that we came from monkeys. Are they confused. ☺

if something is proven you dont believe in it... you accept it.

and your biblical god is a fantasy just like dragons and unicorns
Since I never saw George Washington cross the Delaware river (USA history) therefore it never happened, right? Just a bunch of lies. And yet it's in the history books. Why? Because there were witnesses to the event and they wrote down what they saw (or told someone else who could write it down). I never talked to those witnesses, nor have I ever seen them and yet I believe what they said was truth. The same is with Jesus. I never saw Him, but other people did and they wrote down what they saw and heard.

Written and passed down as personal testimony of what these people witnessed, so others thru the ages would know. People can't see air, yet it keeps them breathing. They can't see their brain, so I guess that's non-existent too. Or how about WiFi? You can't see that, yet it gets you what you need.

@GraceFromEP: you arent even aware of the concept of proofs... seeing has nothing to do with proofs...

however comparing historical texts and archelogical finds are.
@Sarah123: Of course it doesn't. That's my point. You and I know that, but I said that because so many people say they must see it to believe it. But my point above is very valid. It can work both ways. My statements were still true. People do follow that logic, undeniably. To accept something, most demand to see it. Some people do accept things by seeing them. Either way.

No doubt Jesus walked the earth, as thousands saw him and witnessed his works. It is striking that John, Paul, and Peter, all of whom were trained from earliest childhood to believe in the universality of sin, all spoke of the sinlessness of Christ: "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth." As I mentioned earlier, Pilate, who sentenced Jesus to death, asked, "What evil has he done?" After listening to the crowd, Pilate concluded, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves." The crowd relentlessly demanded Jesus be crucified (for claiming to be God). The Roman centurion who assisted in the crucifixion of Christ said, "Surely he was the Son of God."

Jesus constantly demonstrated his power and compassion. He made the lame to walk, the blind to see, and healed those with diseases. For example, a man who had been blind from birth. Everyone knew him as the familiar beggar who sat outside the temple. Yet Jesus healed him. As the authorities questioned the beggar about Jesus, he said, "One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" he declared. He was astounded that these religious authorities didn't recognize this Healer as the Son of God. "Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind," he said. To him the evidence was obvious.

@Sarah123: Seeing is proof. I would think this is more valid than what a book has to say or any science. 🙂

@GraceFromEP: WOW!!!! in disbelief...you have got to be kidding me right? please say yes..please say yes
@black4white: WOW!!! Is that all you got? You can't defend your position or have an answer for my comments? Prove me wrong, and I'm all ears.

@GraceFromEP: Not my place to prove anything...you will believe what you will believe and i am perfectly okay with it :-)....all i can say is WOW!!!!
No, but you obviously disbelieve what I said. So I'm waiting to hear your reasons why. If your going to make a statement, back it up. Wow! is right! That's what I say about what God did for mankind. He didn't have to die on the cross for people's sins, but he did. In fact, he volunteered. Because he loves us so much. I hardly see anything funny in that. Neither does He. People should be grateful, not make fun.

@GraceFromEP: so now i wonder how did "God" die if there never was a "God" ...
@black4white: God the Father never did die. It was his son, Jesus, that died on the cross to pay for our sins, then rose from the dead, as witnessed by some 500 onlookers. There's so much more to that, if you want me to explain.
