The idea that only evolution should be taught because only evolution is science is unscientific on the face of it. I don't believe in materialism but I don't want its teaching to be banned. Why because I might be proven wrong! You see science is not silencing others it is being able to be proven wrong. If your belief is so important to you that no other point should be taught you are no longer a scientist you are a religionist.
