Do you think Creationism should be taught in school? If so, why? [Spirituality & Religion]

And of course i mean taught in the same way evolution is taught, not as a lesson in comparative religion.

I think evolution is pure fantasy but since science is done by observation; who is able to observe God in a scientific manner?
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
Why do you think evolution is fantasy? What issues do you have with the theory?

Science is inadequate to examine the supernatural. So god can never be scientific
Ynotisay · M
@UnparalleledMonster: Shit. Deleted comments. All I got was evolution is fantasy. Always curious how people get there.
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: Just because God is super or extra natural does not dent its truth.
I have no problem with you buying into tripe like evolution.
Just get rid of any superior and arrogant attitude.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

I didn't say it did. But god is not scientific. That's a fact.

So are you able to articulate why evolution is such tripe or is that just a thing you believe for no good reason?
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Ynotisay: So far he hasn't elbaorated
Pfuzylogic · M
@Ynotisay You are such a troll.
Glad you are in the evolutionists camp.

@Unparalledmonster
Evolution is a theory.
Theory = belief in scientists that give you "Lucy" and the missing link 😂
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

What issue do you take with evolution theory? Any specific examples?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster:
I have already "Lucy"
Why are you running away from that.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

Well i think at least you're going to have to elaborate on that. I don't know what that means to you
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster:
Don't you even know the support of your own theory.
Do I need to expalin "Lucy"?
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

I can support it in many ways, but this is the subject you brought up. You're going to have to explain exactly what you're talking about.

fyi, if you're going to call other people trolls, you might want to tone down the snarky attitude...
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: he/she is a troll because they are on my thread In a sneaky way.
Why don't you google "Lucy" first so we can discuss this. I haven't even touched on the contamination that they used as an excuse to finance an excursion to Mars.

Scientists are so corrupt mad greedy!
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

I actually already did while i was waiting for you. Australopithecus, 3 million years old, bipedal ape etc.
Still not sure what you're talking about. So can you just come out with it?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: I normally know what I believe in.
It was about a missing link and how they created it. Are you sure you read more than a paragraph? It was also in Scientific America.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

Yeah, and i'm very familiar with many aspects of evolution theory.
But not lucy which appears to be your thing.
So once again, what specifically about lucy makes evolution theory "pure fantasy" and "tripe" ?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: There were baboon bones thrown in.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

Ok, cool. I was pretty sure this was going to end at "lucy is a fake".
I'm not even going to look into it. I'm going to take you at your word.
Lucy was a fake or misleading or whatever. So was Archaeoraptor. Can you tell me how that invalidates the preponderance of evidence that supports evolution?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: You have to trust scientists. Hey Hawking gave a benediction at the U2 Paris concert.
You trust what you want; I will what I want. Just don't pretend that evidence is in your favor.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:
You have to trust scientists
Ok, sure. And was there a cover up or when someone noticed the mistake was it widely published in scientific publications?

But anyway, i'm sure you wouldn't want to make the argument that a flawed specimen or even an instance of deliberate forgery somehow invalidates the rest of the body of evidence.
If you would, i'd love to hear it.
don't pretend that evidence is in your favor.

Well the fossil record, biology, phylogeny, morphology and genetics all appear to indicate evolution.
So the evidence definitely IS in "my favor". Which of those evidences would you like to dispute?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: I don't believe any of the construction by man.
You imagine that I answer to you.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:
I don't believe any of the construction by man

What does that mean?
You imagine that I answer to you.
...uh...no?
Do you feel being asked to defend your position constitutes answering to me ?
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster: I am good dude. You have added nothing to the evolution belief
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:
You have added nothing to the evolution belief

I haven't really had an opportunity to.
Your trump card was "lucy had a baboon bone" and beyond that you've refused in any way to dispute even a single element of evolution theory.

I'm glad you're comfortable with an opinion based on ignorance but i'm afraid it's not very compelling to anyone else.
Of course you're still welcome to actually debate the subject, but i won't hold my breath.
Pfuzylogic · M
@UnparalleledMonster:
Don't flatter yourself with what you identify as ignorance. Most that believe in science treat it like a pacifier and are the first to insult.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic:

Oh look, another snarky deflection when challenged to offer even a scrap of support for your claims.
Whenever you want to quit clutching that security blanket of false superiority and actually engage on an intellectual level let me know.
