Personal Belief Can Never Over Shadow Truth

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. John 1:1-5

Personal belief is like the darkness, it can never overcome the Truth which is the light. even though we are entitled to our own belief system, it will be wise of us to be wise to humble ourselves to the point of being teachable to knowing Truth. The knowledge of the truth is like a priceless treasure buried in a field where a man found it. He sold everything he had to buy that field and claim that treasure for himself. The kingdom of God is like that treasure.

Um, everything listed in your first paragraph IS belief, rather than truth. "It's written in a book" isn't proof.

@GodSpeed63 Well, here's the start of reasoning, at least. However, if you believe in it because it's true, and it's true because you believe in it, can you not see that your reasoning has no logical basis? That all you have is repetition?

No. My reasoning is logical without repletion.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
“If you consent and obey,
You will eat the best of the land;
“But if you refuse and rebel,
You will be devoured by the sword.”
Truly, the mouth of the Lord has spoken Isaiah 1:18-20

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9

Unless you become born again, the Truth will not be in you. You've had a physical birth, now you need to have a Spiritual birth in order for the Truth to be in you.

@GodSpeed63 Well, you're right in that it lacks repletion, but not in that it's logical. You're right because you say you're right, and you say you're right because you're right. And your "source" to back this up is... someone saying you're right.

I was born okay the first time, thank you very much, and your bizarre insistence that God gave humanity sense, reason, and intellect with the intention that we forgo their use is something that any rational Christian would see as blasphemous.
